Although her mind is spinning, it's only saying one thing, "Get him back, get him back!"

It happened so fast Betty didn't know what hit her. All this time she thought their relationship was sailing happily into the sunset until the dreaded "It's not you, it's me" excuse was spoken.

In her shock, everything else was a blur after that line.

Break ups are hard. But make ups are not all that impossible as well. There's no harm in trying to reconcile with an ex boyfriend. The even greater tragedy is not doing anything at all! Here's how:

1. Be patient. Nurturing a relationship takes time. Mending it back to health is going to take time as well.
   
   
2. Be you. If you run into your ex boyfriend in a public place, keep it civil if you want to get him back. If you're not ready for a quick chat then avoid him. If you are, then be yourself and act naturally as you would with any friend.
   
   
3. Be gorgeous. Look your best every time you go out. Be a good soldier who's ready for anything. Who knows, you just might accidentally see him in the mall!
   
   
4. Be pleasant. Being ex's doesn't mean you have to rile one another. Be cool with the situation and throw in a compliment or two about how nice he looks. Keep it casual.
   
   
5. Be friends again. This may be difficult for some, especially for those who had a nasty break up or those without proper closure. If you fall in this category, don't force it. Let time work its magic to heal your wounds, or better yet, have that long overdue talk to clear things up. When all is well, rebuild that friendship.
   
   
6. Take it slow and let things flow naturally. When you're more comfortable with each other, reminisce about the good old times. Spending time and having fun together might make him rethink why he broke up with you in the first place! Get him back the good old fashioned way. Remember, the race isn't always for the swift.

I know that it's never an easy task when it comes to getting getting your ex back by setting yourself small goals and getting a plan it is possible. Win your Ex back with a plan but don't rush it!
